A design challenge, this infill home replaced an older existing home in West Seattle. This home takes advantage of the narrow homesite by elevating the front door with landscaping elements and offering a taller foyer with a few stairs to the main living areas. Architectural features on the interior such as custom paint selections for individual rooms, built-in cabinets surrounding the fireplace, art niches, and coved ceilings defined spaces in an otherwise open and flowing environment. Perfect for entertaining, this home showcased Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and views of the water from strategically placed windows.
