Founded in 1994, Epic Homes, Inc. was started by Bill Thoreson after several years of managing large projects for a national homebuilder. Epic Homes was created with the vision of being small, nimble and hands-on. That vision has been appreciated by the clients with whom we have built custom homes for, as well as the contractors and financiers who appreciate the direct communication and reliability that comes with an owner-owned and operated business.

We have a proven track record that is the result of our well developed contractor base, defined market analysis, detailed accounting, and risk management. Over the past 15 years, we have acquired, developed and built over 86 projects covering a wide range of residential spec construction, custom construction and new ideas in modern commercial spaces.

During the past eight years, we have been exclusively building in the downtown Seattle area, completing a wide array of urban infill projects from high-end, single-family residences; 2-8 unit, moderately priced, semi-detached homes; modern, move-up townhomes; and new concepts in small business commercial structures. This targeted geographic approach has made us keenly aware of market trends and has given us the ability to pinpoint opportunities.
